Kids moved out...flat vs plot in Noida now?

Selling our big house. Kids have moved out, don't need such a big place anymore. Thinking of investing the resale amount. Got two options in mind. One is a 2BHK in a decent society in Sector 155. Ready to move, lift bhi hai which is important. Maintenance thoda zyada hai though. Or, a small plot in Noida Extension. Cheaper, but then construction ka jhanjhat. Not sure if I want that headache at this age. Plots ka ROI zyada hota hai kya? Which one would you pick keeping in mind low maintenance and resale value later? What does the community think?
