Budget finalised, loan pre-approved – now stuck on Kogilu/Hosa Road. How's daily life there? I'm worried about water supply issues, heard some areas struggle. Is it manageable or a constant headache?

I moved to Kogilu last year. Water is definitely a concern, especially if you're on the higher floors. My apartment complex has invested heavily in rainwater harvesting and has multiple borewells, so we manage. But yes, ask your builder about their water management plan specifically. Don't just take their word for it.
Near Kogilu Main Road, my builder is Prestige. They have a good system, but even then, we get BWSSB supply only twice a week. The rest is borewell. So, it's not perfect, but I don't pay extra just for water, it's part of the general maintenance. The price hike
That's good to hear. Which specific area in Kogilu are you in? And which builder? I'm looking at a project near Kogilu Cross. Prices have shot up like crazy in the last 6 months, almost 15-20% increase. I'm wondering if this price includes a premium for decent water supply or if it's just general market inflation. Is it worth paying that much for a place where basic amenities are still a struggle?
Bhai, same boat! Mera bhi budget done hai but Kogilu/Hosa Road pe sunke thodi phat rahi hai. Water supply ka issue toh bahut logon ne bataya hai. Is it like, every other day no water, ya borewell pe survive karna padta hai? I'm worried about the long-term maintenance costs and if the builder promises borewell water but then it fails. Any actual residents here who can confirm?
Kogilu mein itna bhi bura nahi hai. Haan, summers mein thoda adjust karna padta hai but it's manageable. Not a constant headache for sure.
Totally agree with you! Yeh water supply ka issue is a deal-breaker for me. Mere friend ne Whitefield mein liya tha, har hafte tanker bulana padta hai. I don't want that kind of headache. Builders toh sab achha bolte hain, but ground reality alag hoti hai.
