Did a site visit to Krishna Kunj, Rajkot. Builder ne quotation mein parking charges extra bataye. Brochure mein toh included tha. Is this normal? Yaar, hidden costs se fed up hoon. Kya karein?

Honestly, Rajkot real estate market mein yeh hidden cost ka funda bahut common ho gaya hai. Builders apni initial pricing low dikhate hain to attract buyers, aur phir add-ons se profit nikaalte hain. Krishna Kunj ka location accha hai, but due diligence must hai. Hope you get this sorted out soon.
RERA helpline par complaint karo bhai. Yeh seedha violation hai. Brochure mein jo hai, wohi final hona chahiye.
Hidden costs are a massive red flag, especially with parking. RERA rules ke hisaab se, allocated parking space cost has to be disclosed upfront. Agar brochure mein included tha aur ab extra charge kar rahe hain, toh yeh clearly unfair trade practice hai. You should check their RERA registration details online, wahan saare charges break-up mein mil jaayenge. Builders often try to exploit first-time buyers who don't know the rules properly. Be very careful before signing anything.
So, if the RERA document doesn't show parking as extra, can we legally challenge them? Yaar, yeh sab sunke aur darr lag raha hai. Kya koi consumer forum mein jaana padega ya RERA complaint hi kaafi hogi?
Exactly what happened with my relative in another Rajkot project last year. Brochure said 'all-inclusive' but then they were hit with 'preferential location charges' (PLC), 'floor rise' and 'covered parking' charges which added almost 10% to the total! They fought it but eventually had to pay a reduced amount just to get possession. Builders know we're desperate. Always get everything in writing, even the brochure details should be part of the agreement if possible.
Totally agree with the original post. Krishna Kunj mein yeh problem chal rahi hai? Maine bhi suna hai unke baare mein mixed reviews. Did they show you any specific clause in the agreement for extra parking or was it just verbal? Yeh important hai janana.
Exactly! Mere saath bhi yahi hua tha, agreement mein chupa dete hain charges. Bahut tricky log hain.
Haan, jaise aapne pucha, verbal hi hota hai mostly. Builder bolte hain ki brochure marketing material hai, actual terms agreement mein honge. But that's just cheating! Krishna Kunj mein toh RERA registration bhi hai, right? Check karna padega kya unhone parking charges disclose kiye hain RERA documents mein.
Bhai, same to same experience! Mera bhi ek builder ne aise hi kiya tha Rajkot mein, par dusri society mein. Brochure mein sab included dikhate hain, deal final hone par naye naye charges bataate hain. Parking toh common issue hai yaar. Bahut frustrating hota hai.
