Is Krishna Kunj traffic really that bad during peak hours? I just moved in last month near 150 Feet Ring Road and commute to University Road for work. Morning and evening rush hour mein kaafi jam milta hai. Parking ka bhi issue lag raha hai, society mein toh theek hai but visitor parking ya market mein jagah nahi milti. Kya ye daily ka scene hai ya just temporary? Matlab, kitna time lagta hai typically from Krishna Kunj to University Road? Any tips for avoiding the worst of it?

Yaar, parking was a major deal-breaker for me when I was looking at flats in Krishna Kunj. Builder ne bola tha ample visitor parking hai, but jab visit kiya toh ek gaadi bhi park karne ki jagah nahi thi. End mein I decided against buying there, even though the flat was good value. Daily ki headache kaun le? My relatives who live there also complain about it constantly, especially during festivals.
So, kitna time lagta hai exactly from Krishna Kunj to University Road at 9 AM? Google Maps pe toh 15 min dikhata hai, but real-world experience kya hai?
Hmm, I find it manageable if you leave a bit early or late. Peak hours are definitely tough, but if you hit the road by 8:30 AM instead of 9:00 AM, it's much better. Parking ka issue toh hai, agreed, but that's everywhere in Rajkot these days, not just Krishna Kunj.
I agree with U3 to some extent, timing *does* help, but it's not a magic bullet anymore. The best tip I found is to use the service roads or smaller internal roads where possible, even if it adds a minute or two. Avoid the main junctions during 8:45-9:45 AM and 6:00-7:00 PM. Parking ka toh kya hi bole, society ke bahar toh bhool jao, it's a mess, especially for visitors. Rajkot mein public transport bhi limited hai, so everyone is on the road.
U3, I tried leaving early, but 8:30 AM pe bhi traffic start ho jaata hai ab. Pehle shayad theek tha, but with so many new societies coming up around Krishna Kunj, the volume has just exploded. It's not just 9 AM anymore, the window for 'manageable' is shrinking.
Bhai, you're not alone! I'm also near 150 Ft Ring Road, same commute route. University Road pe toh subah aur shaam dono time, it's a nightmare. Especially near the junctions. Lagta hai ab toh ye daily ka hi scene ban gaya hai, temporary bilkul nahi.
Sahi kaha U2, that stretch is brutal. For U4's question (jo usne neeche pucha hai), Google Maps is a liar! I leave Krishna Kunj at 8:45 AM and it takes me minimum 30-35 minutes to reach University Road. Aur agar koi accident ho gaya toh 45 minutes bhi lag jaate hain.
Exactly! 150 Ft Ring Road se University Road enter karte hi, wahan flyover ke paas toh pakka jam milta hai every single day. It's frustrating.
