Kutumbh Height's maintenance charges feel misleading. We saw one figure, but possession papers show much higher. After selling our house, we just want manageable costs. Have other residents faced these hidden fees?

Bhai, meri toh suno! Maine Ajayabpur mein ek project mein invest kiya tha 3 saal pehle. Builder ne bola tha 2 years mein possession mil jayega. Abhi tak project half-way bhi complete nahi hai, aur construction cost bhi badha di hai bolke extra demand kar rahe hain. Maintenance toh door ki baat hai, yahan toh ghar hi nahi mil raha. Ye builders sab ek jaise hi hain, bas paisa banana jaante hain.
Ye toh common story ho gayi hai. Jab bhi koi builder RERA se bachne ki koshish karta hai, ya phir project details transparent nahi rakhta, aise issues aate hi hain. Hamesha due diligence karni chahiye, especially for ongoing projects

Exactly! Mere ek relative ne Alpha II mein ek project liya tha, unke saath bhi aisa hi hua tha. Initial quote kuch aur, final bill mein extra charges. Builders make a killing on these 'miscellaneous' costs.

Iska matlab hai ki project RERA ke regulations ke andar nahi aata, ya toh size mein chhota hai, ya construction start hone se pehle hi complete ho gaya tha (which is unlikely here as it's ongoing). Without RERA, consumer protection thodi weak ho jaati hai, aur builders ke paas thodi zyada leeway hoti hai terms change karne ki.
