posted on 9 AprLand Acquisition Update: Farmers to Get YEIDA-Level Compensation
Heard a lot of folks worrying about the New Noida area and whether land issues would slow things down. Well, there's an update! Farmers will now get YEIDA-level compensation for their land. Basically, this means fair pricing to avoid delays, so projects in the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR) can move faster. Hopefully, this will boost real estate development and keep things on track. Good news for buyers, or potential headache averted? What do you all think?

It's a double-edged sword. Faster development is good, but will it lead to oversupply and a price crash?
So what's the bottom line? Is this a good time to invest in New Noida, or should I wait and see?
Let's wait for a few months and see how things progress. Market sentiment is still cautious.
I am looking at a resale flat in sector 78, Noida. Any suggestions on what to look out for ?
Sector 78 is a good location. Check for waterlogging issues during the monsoon.
Builder ne phir se date extend kar diya lol. I'm starting to lose hope.
Land acquisition issues are a pain. Hopefully, this YEIDA compensation thing actually works.
This might also help to bring down property rates in future as supply increases due to faster construction.
Possession mila kya kisi ko DNGIR mein? Seriously asking.
Not yet, bhai. Most projects are still in early stages.
I'm looking at a 2BHK in that area. What's the average rate currently?
Be careful guys! Check the builder's track record before investing. Some of them are notorious for delays.
Totally agree yaar. This news is good, but still, due diligence is important. RERA registration number check karo.
Fair compensation will definitely help speed things up. Less litigation means faster project completion.
Connectivity is key. New metro line is planned but kab tak banega? No one knows.
I invested in a plot in New Noida last year. This news is definitely reassuring. But still, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
What about the environmental clearances? Are they in place? That's another potential hurdle.
I heard that the compensation is around 2500 per sq meter. Is that true? Anyone have concrete numbers?
Where did you hear that? Source? Need to verify this before getting too excited.
YEIDA-level compensation? Finally! That's what they should have done from the start. Hopefully, no more kisan andolan slowing things down.
Bhai, 'fair pricing' is a subjective term. Let's see what the actual compensation figures are. Builders will still try to cut corners somewhere.
Good news indeed! But what about existing projects where land acquisition was a problem? Will this apply retrospectively?
That's a valid question. I'm stuck in a project in Sector 150 where the builder blames land acquisition for the delay.
This DNGIR sounds promising, but I'm still worried about connectivity. Will the metro reach there anytime soon?
