Landlord hiked rent again, now I'm questioning everything about Bengaluru property
Did a site visit to a Prestige project in Whitefield last weekend, and honestly, I'm just so fed up of renting. My landlord just hiked rent again, and I'm finally taking the plunge to buy. But the whole under-construction vs ready-to-move thing is driving me crazy. Everyone glorifies pre-launch discounts, but nobody talks about the mental stress of RERA delays and builders like Puravankara or Godrej dragging projects for years. Is that 'early bird discount' even real after paying EMIs for a flat that keeps getting pushed? I'm thinking ready-to-move, even with a higher premium, is better. At least you know what you're getting, no hidden surprises like water issues in Bellandur or endless traffic on Sarjapur Road. Should I just pay more for peace of mind? Change my mind.
