Lohegaon site visit: Water and traffic reality check
Visited a couple of projects in Lohegaon last weekend. Currently in a 2BHK near Hinjewadi, thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK or maybe a small villa there. Already have a home loan, so I'm trying to figure out if the price jump is really worth it. My biggest concerns are water supply and traffic. Heard mixed things about water – is it mostly municipal or still a lot of tanker dependency for daily needs? And the traffic, especially near the airport road and during peak hours, how bad does it get? Not sure if the proposed ring road will actually help Lohegaon or just push congestion around. What's the actual day-to-day living like regarding water and traffic? Is the current property premium for Lohegaon justified for the existing infrastructure, or are we paying mostly for future promises? Any real-world insights would be super helpful before I make a decision.

Bhai, Lohegaon mein water ka issue toh reality hai. My cousin lives near Dhanori, which is close by, and they face tanker dependency, especially in summers. Municipal supply is there but not always consistent. The premium you pay might not cover this basic amenity yet.
Totally agree! My friend in Ambegaon also struggles with water. Tanker mafias are a big problem everywhere.
