My kids have moved out, so I'm looking to sell our big place and move somewhere smaller, more manageable. Paramount Luxury Floors Sector 57 looks good on paper, but I'm worried about actual daily living. Is it genuinely practical? Are the amenities like the clubhouse actually useful, or just for show? For an older couple, is the neighborhood good? Need decent hospitals nearby. What are the monthly maintenance charges like there, really?

While amenities can sometimes be a gimmick, a well-maintained clubhouse can be useful for socialising or just a quiet walk in the evening, especially for older folks. The key is how well they're managed and maintained. For Paramount, I've heard mixed reviews about their facility management. What's the general consensus on their build quality and after-sales service once you move in?
Paramount's build quality is generally okay, but their after-sales support can be slow and unresponsive. My neighbour had issues with seepage and it took ages to resolve, even for a completed project. They are not very proactive. So, what did the original poster decide in the end?
Sector 57 is decent, but for an older couple, I'd suggest looking closer to established areas with better infrastructure. Maybe near Airport Road (Gurgaon side)? Market abhi thoda slow hai, you might get a better deal elsewhere.
I checked Paramount Luxury Floors Sector 57 a while ago. Possession was indeed 2022-04-01, so it's completed, that's good. But the 'RERA Not Applicable' status always makes me nervous, even if it's completed. Builders sometimes use loopholes. My cousin had issues with another builder near Badshahpur with a similar status, and it was a nightmare for post-possession issues. What's the deal with 'RERA Not Applicable' here?
Actually, RERA not applicable for a completed project isn't always a red flag. If they received their Occupancy Certificate (OC) before RERA came into full effect, they might be exempt. It just means due diligence is even more important, and you need to verify OC and other documents thoroughly. But yes, builder's past reputation matters a lot. Any specific issues with Paramount's construction quality or amenities after possession?
RERA not applicable sounds fishy even for completed projects. Always double check why. Builder se seedha poochna chahiye.
For an older couple, practicality over luxury is key. Paramount's maintenance charges are known to be quite high, and nearby hospitals... you'll need to check specific distances. Sector 57 can be a bit isolated for daily needs, especially without a car. Is the area developed enough for quick access to essentials?
Maintenance charges are definitely a concern. My friend pays almost 18k for a 3BHK there, that's steep! Plus, the amenities are often empty. Not worth it if you're not using them.
Haan, you're right about Sector 57. My parents live nearby, and for good hospitals like Medanta or Artemis, it's a bit of a drive. Around Basai or closer to the main Gurgaon city, medical facilities are more accessible. It's not ideal for immediate medical needs.
Totally agree, most luxury amenities are just for show. Paramount Luxury Floors ka bhi shayad waisa hi scene hoga. Price range toh dekho ₹2.1 Cr – ₹5.0 Cr, itna paisa daal ke agar clubhouse use hi na ho toh kya faayda?
