Okay, I'll be honest – I'm really struggling to justify the price jump for a 3BHK or villa in Mohali. Currently in a 2BHK in Sector 68, and it's fine, but we definitely need more space. I've been looking at places like M2K Olive Green Floors, and the brochures look amazing, all those fancy amenities. But I've heard stories, yaar, about promised amenities versus what you actually get at possession. Like, are the clubhouses actually used or just ghost facilities? And the construction quality... is it solid, or will I be dealing with cracks and seepage within a year? My brother-in-law had issues with fittings in his new place. Is the premium worth it for what you actually *live* with? I already have a home loan, so this next one really needs to be right. Any experiences with Mohali projects and their actual delivery vs. promises?
₹1.7 crore for a 3BHK in an ongoing project like M2K Olive Green feels like a big commitment, especially with kids. Everyone talks about the future appreciation, but no one really discusses if it's genuinely a good place to *live* daily. My wife's main priority is a safe neighbourhood with good schools nearby, and honestly, I'm not sure if this area delivers on that. Is the school proximity good enough for young kids? I feel like these new projects often lack a real community vibe. It's all about fancy amenities on paper, but do people actually interact? Or is it just everyone in their own apartment? I need a place where my children can actually play outside, not just in a designated 'kids' zone'. Is the daily commute from there as smooth as they claim? Change my mind.
Moved into M2K Olive Green last month. Found that while amenities look good on paper, actual quality is often disappointing post-possession. Check them rigorously. Hope this helps others.
