Mahipalpur 2BHK dilemma — metro reality check?
Spent the whole Sunday checking out options in Mahipalpur. Honestly, I'm so fed up of renting, my landlord just hiked rent again. Finally ready to take the plunge and buy something. Saw some 2BHKs, prices are around ₹90L-1.2Cr, which is pushing my budget but feels somewhat justified for Delhi. The metro connectivity is a huge plus, really close to the airport line. But what's the ground reality like? Is the Mahipalpur metro station always crowded during peak hours? And how about last-mile connectivity from the station to residential areas? Not sure if it's easy to get an auto or e-rickshaw without a fight. Also, I'm worried about the monsoon. Heard some areas in Mahipalpur get really bad waterlogging. Is that still an issue or has the infrastructure improved with the UER-II work nearby? Don't want to regret buying a place that becomes an island every July. Any current residents have insights on this?
