Maintenance charges are the real hidden cost of new flats
Just moved into Eisha 33 Central Avenue a couple months back. Wanted to share a quick heads-up on maintenance charges. Everyone focuses on the initial cost, but nobody really talks about how quickly they increase or if the service matches. I'm paying a decent amount, but feel like basic things like common area cleaning or lift upkeep could be better. Also, parking allocation was a bit of a scramble post-possession, definitely not as smooth as promised. Any tips on how to push societies for better service without constant arguments? Is this just the new normal for new projects?

Yaar, ye toh sunke hi darr lag raha hai. Hum bhi first-time buyer hain aur Eisha 33 mein interest tha. Maintenance ka issue itna bada ho sakta hai, socha nahi tha. Toh ab kya karein, society se kaise baat karein without making enemies? Any tips?
Sahi keh rahe ho U1. The best way is to form a strong residents' association early on
Haan bhai, same experience! Builder ki baatein toh badi-badi hoti hain. Aapko apne sale agreement mein check karna chahiye ki maintenance clause kya kehta hai.
