Maintenance charges in Greater Noida are a total rip-off.
Are maintenance charges in Greater Noida societies worth it anymore? We're looking for a 3BHK, kids bade ho rahe hain, current flat chhota pad raha hai. Visited AFOWO Raksha Addela, brochure mein sab sahi lagta hai. But my wife is really worried about high maintenance charges. Matlab, jo service milti hai, woh value for money hai kya? Ya sirf papers pe hi sab accha hai? Especially for the kids' play areas and clubhouse, are they properly maintained or just for show? Our budget is tight, so every penny counts.

Dekho, high maintenance charges ka ek reason yeh bhi ho sakta hai ki they're providing a lot of amenities. Aajkal har society mein swimming pool, gym, sports courts, sab expect karte hain log. Inko maintain karne ka kharcha toh aata hi hai. Plus, Greater Noida mein security standards bhi high hain due to the location. Maybe that's why it seems expensive.
Haan, main Raksha Addela mein hi rehta hoon. Possession toh mil gaya hai sabko. Finishing issues abhi bhi hain, minor hain but hain. Jaise common area tiles, lift maintenance, sometimes water pressure issues. Kids play area is okay, but yes, it could be better maintained, especially after heavy rains. Maintenance charges, as U4 mentioned, are definitely on the higher side. They recently increased them slightly too. We are a group of residents trying to talk to the management about it.

Bhai, I actually visited Raksha Addela and talked to a couple of residents there. The club house is decent, and the kids' play area looks good on the surface. But jo maintenance charges hain, woh ₹3.5-4 per sq ft tak ja rahe hain, which is quite steep for Greater Noida. Plus, there were some complaints about power backup issues and slow response from the facility management team. They got possession on 2023-03-01, as per RERA UPRERAPRJ6497, but still kuch finishing issues hain logon ko.
Exactly! Yeh sab sunke toh lagta hai builders bas promises karte hain. I had a similar experience with a project in Ajayabpur. Initial years, sab theek thaak, phir maintenance badha diya aur services degrade ho gayi. Always check the builder's track record and not just the current project's brochures.

AFOWO Raksha Addela ka koi detailed maintenance breakdown mila hai kya kisi ko? Jaise security, power backup, common area cleaning, club house, kids' play area... kitna kitna charge karte hain? Aur kya sach mein sab properly maintain hota hai, ya bas bill hi aata hai?
Sahi pakda hai bhai! Hum bhi yahi soch rahe hain. Har society mein maintenance ka rona hai. Lagta hai developers bas ek baar flat bechne ke baad bhool jaate hain.
