Majestic/KBS property: Your thoughts on daily life & resale?

Budget finalised, loan pre-approved — now stuck on which sector. I'm seriously looking at Majestic/KBS area. My parents keep saying it's too old and congested, but the metro connectivity is just amazing for my office near MG Road. I saw a couple of 2BHKs, around ₹90L to ₹1.1 Cr. Honestly, not sure if those prices are justified for an older locality, even with the metro right there. Is there negotiation room? What's daily life actually like there? Is it super noisy all the time? I'm worried about the resale value too, if I ever need to sell in 5-7 years. Will it be hard to find buyers for an older apartment? Any insights on the actual living experience or if there's negotiation room on prices would be super helpful. Ab samajh nahi aa raha.
