Malleswaram East living experience is tricky

Since January I've been shortlisting flats, totally fed up of renting. Malleswaram East / Sampige Road is on my radar. With all the educational institutions, I'm wondering about the actual daily life there. Is it mostly student-centric, or do families thrive too? How's the traffic, especially during peak school hours? Metro helps, but what about last-mile connectivity? What's the real tenant profile? Thinking about future resale, is it a good family area or more for bachelors? What's the community feel like?
