posted on 7 MayMayurdhwaj Apartments: Daily life experience kaisa hai?
Honestly, I thought finding a bigger place would be easier, but it's just so confusing. We're a growing family, need at least a 3BHK, and Mayurdhwaj Apartments in New Delhi caught my eye. Price range seems okay, but I'm really looking for end-user experiences. Is it genuinely good to live in daily, ya sirf paper pe accha lagta hai? Meri wife ki priority hai ki kids ke liye achhe schools paas mein hon. How's the neighborhood quality around there? Are hospitals and markets *actually* convenient, ya sab door padte hain? And the community vibe, kaisa hai wahan ka mahol? Kids ke liye safe hai kya? Any idea about the actual maintenance charges monthly? Not sure if it's worth it if daily life becomes a struggle.

So, OP, what did you decide finally? Did you consider Mayurdhwaj or look at other options? Your experience would be helpful for others facing similar dilemmas.
I visited Mayurdhwaj last month. For the price range (₹20 L – ₹5.0 Cr), the 3BHK options are competitive compared to areas like Anand Niketan or Ansal Villas. However, the 'Status: null' is a serious concern, which means you might be looking at a resale or an old project with unknown completion timelines if it's new. Infrastructure around is developing, so expect some dust and noise for a while. It's a trade-off between price and immediate livability.
Community vibe aur kids ki safety ka kya scene hai? Meri family ke liye bahut important hai ki bacche freely khel sakein. Koi specific amenities for kids, like parks or play areas inside the complex?
U9 is right, play area exists but it's basic. New projects mein common areas ki maintenance ka issue rehta hai sometimes. You'll need to check if the RWA is active and efficient to ensure kids have a good environment.
Haan, kids ke liye ek chhota play area hai but it's not very big. Security wise, most new projects have good gates. Ek public park paas mein hai, but woh society ke andar nahi hai.
Price range seems decent for a 3BHK in Delhi, especially with the current market conditions. But what about possession? Builder ka track record kaisa hai? Koi idea hai ki kab tak mil jayega?
Exactly, U5! Current market mein toh builders bas promises karte hain. Anand Vihar mein bhi same haal hai, prices high hain aur delivery dates unrealistic. It's so frustrating for first-time buyers like us.
Bhai, possession ka toh mat hi पूछो! Mayurdhwaj ka 'Status: null' dikha raha hai, jo red flag hai. Mere friend ne Alaknanda mein ek project liya tha, same situation, 3 saal delay hua. Be careful, hidden costs bahut hote hain aur builder baad mein date extend kar dete hain.
Yaar, ye Mayurdhwaj Apartments ka price range toh theek lag raha hai ₹20 L – ₹5.0 Cr, but 'Status: null' dekh ke thoda darr lag raha hai. Kya ye genuinely daily life ke liye accha hai ya sirf paper pe? Meri wife schools ko leke bahut particular hai, toh kids ke liye achhe schools paas mein hain kya? Aur hospitals, markets ki accessibility kaisi hai? Last thing, maintenance charges ka kuch idea hai? Don't want to get stuck with hidden costs.
Schools ke liye toh Anand Niketan side mein kuch top schools hain, thoda drive padega but manageable. Hospitals aur markets convenience ke hisaab se theek hain, bahut door nahi hain, but walk-in distance expect mat karna. Area ka vibe mixed hai, kuch parts developed hain, kuch abhi bhi under-progress. Kids ke liye parks hain but security needs to be checked properly.
Maintenance charges toh generally ₹3-5 per sqft hote hain for new projects, but Mayurdhwaj ka exact figure check karna padega. Daily life ke liye, area connectivity theek hai, but traffic can be an issue during peak hours. Nearby Alaknanda mein bhi kuch projects dekh lo, maybe better options mil jaayein.
Totally agree, U1! Builders ka track record dekhna bahut zaroori hai. 'Status: null' is a huge red flag in today's market.
