Did anyone else get a shock with the RWA maintenance charges here in Medanta/Sec 38? Just moved in last month, and the initial quotes felt okay, but ab after electricity and water charges ka breakup, it's way higher. Builder ne toh bas lump sum bataya tha. Kya society management is actually effective for this much? Yaar, things nobody told me about the actual breakdown.

This is so unfair. Don't we have any consumer
Haan yaar, builders ki yahi strategy hoti hai. First-time buyers ko toh pata hi nahi chalta ki kya kya hidden costs ho sakte hain. It's a big investment, aur phir aise surprises. Mera toh budget pura hila hua hai.

Sahi baat hai. Yeh builder log sab chhupate hain. My friend in Sector 57 also faced this. They showed a low number but electricity and water meters were separate and then the common area maintenance was super high. Always ask for a detailed breakup before signing anything, not just a lump sum.
Exactly! What's the per sqft rate they are charging you now, including everything?
Bhai, totally relate. Same pinch! I bought a flat near Airport Road (Gurgaon side) last year and the builder initial estimates were like ₹3/sqft. Now RWA has taken over and it's almost ₹5.5/sqft, not including power backup. Builder bas lure karta hai.
