Is anyone else seeing the real construction quality issues in Mohali? I'm looking at ST Patricks The Skylo Tower, and honestly, under-construction sites often hide so much. From my experience, shoddy build quality directly hits resale values and means crazy maintenance costs later. Promised amenities? They're often just for brochure photos. How do you actually assess this for an investment? What's your strategy to avoid projects that become money pits in 2-3 years? I'm not sure if the premium for 'luxury' is even worth it here.

ST Patricks The Skylo Tower mein koi specific problem face ki hai kya? Ya general observation hai Mohali market ka?
U2, specific problem toh abhi construction stage mein full pata nahi chalega. But U3 ne sahi point out kiya hai, 2032 ka possession date ST Patricks The Skylo Tower ka. That's a huge red flag for me. It means almost 8 years from now! So much can change, and builders often use this long window to cut corners or delay further. RERA registration is there, but it doesn't guarantee timely delivery or quality.
Totally agree yaar! Mohali mein quality ka issue toh hai. I'm also a first-time buyer and the thought of investing so much only to find shoddy work later gives me sleepless nights. Builders show one thing on paper and deliver something else. How do we even trust these guys?
Sahi kaha, U1. Mere ek friend ne bhi Mohali mein liya tha, gym aur swimming pool ka promise tha, 3 saal ho gaye abhi tak bas construction chal rahi hai. Basic amenities bhi nahi mil rahi time pe.
Haan bilkul! Brochure mein toh sab gold plated lagta hai, site visit pe jao toh reality kuch aur hi hoti hai.
