Just moved into my 2BHK in Baharampur Naya last month, possession was in March. Honestly, the all-in cost was way higher than expected. Ganpati Builders quoted ₹78L but with stamp duty, registration, and all those 'hidden' maintenance charges, it easily crossed ₹90L. Negotiation felt tough; they barely budged 2-3% on the base price. Did anyone else manage better negotiation tactics in Mohali, or is that just how it is? Feeling a bit surprised by the final numbers, tbh.

Mohali mein toh ab prices upar hi jaa rahe hain, especially good locations like Baharampur Naya. Current market conditions mein 2-3% negotiation is actually considered decent, believe it or not. Builders know the demand is high.

Yaar, ye toh sabke saath hota hai. Registration aur stamp duty toh government charges hain, woh toh lagne hi the. But maintenance charges upfront lena thoda fishy lagta hai. Kya aapne builder se breakup manga tha sabka?
Bhai, same pinch! Mohali mein builders ka yahi haal hai. Mera dost Airport Road (Gurgaon side) pe dekh raha tha, wahan bhi hidden charges ne budget hila diya. Aapka negotiation 2-3% toh phir bhi theek hai, humein toh 1% bhi nahi mila.
