Visited some Budget Homes projects last weekend. Fed up of renting, landlord ne rent badha diya phir se. Everyone glorifies Mohali's new infrastructure, but I think road and metro upgrades haven't really pushed Budget Homes prices much. Sector 115 ya 116 mein toh koi big jump dikha nahi. Change my mind.

Dekho, Mohali ka potential toh hai, no doubt. But the issue is genuine, reliable builders and proper project execution. Sabko sirf paisa banana hai, quality aur delivery ka koi bharosa nahi. This Alton Buildtech thing U4 mentioned is a classic example of what's wrong. Phir log bolte hain ki Badshahpur ya Baliawas mein invest kar lete, at least wahan established names hain ya developers ka track record pata hai. It's a tough market for first-time buyers like us, full of risks.
Alton Buildtech India Pvt Ltd? Bhai, be very careful. I did some digging a few months back. Their RERA status shows 0 completed projects. Matlab, they literally have no track record. How can they show you 'decent options' if they haven't built anything yet? Don't fall for glossy brochures and fake promises. Mohali mein aise bahut small-time builders hain jo sirf paper pe exist karte hain, aur phir possession ke liye saalon tak wait karwate hain.
This is why I'm so nervous about buying. Every other day, there's a new builder with big promises but no history. How do we even find reliable ones in Mohali?
OMG, seriously? Thanks for the warning! This is exactly the kind of info we need.
I was actually looking at some projects in Sector 115 too. One builder, Alton Buildtech India Pvt Ltd, was showing some decent options. But their prices seemed a bit high for 'budget' homes, no? What's their track record like? Anyone know?
Exactly what U4 said! My agent tried pushing their project too, but when I asked for a site visit of a completed project, they kept making excuses. Be careful, a lot of new builders pop up just to cash in on infrastructure hype. It's a scary game, especially when your life savings are on the line.
Alton Buildtech? Never heard of them. That's a red flag right there for a first-time buyer.
Bhai, you're spot on! Mohali mein infra projects toh chal rahe hain, but prices mein woh jump nahi dikh raha. Especially if you compare it to what's happening near Airport Road (Gurgaon side) or even Badshahpur. Wahan toh prices rocket ho gaye hain, yahan abhi bhi static lag raha hai budget segment mein.
