Mohali investment dilemma: Amenities vs. actual quality
Since last year I've been eyeing properties in Mohali for my first investment. I'm looking at places like Millenium Bajrang Society, and honestly, the amenities look great on paper. But I'm worried about the reality. Do these fancy clubhouses and sports facilities actually get used, or are they just for show, driving up maintenance charges? My biggest concern is construction quality. People say cracks and seepage appear within a year, affecting resale value and increasing long-term costs. What's the real ground truth on snags? Are the maintenance charges actually worth the service quality you get later? Any experiences with Millenium Bajrang Society or similar projects would be super helpful. Does the premium for amenities truly attract better tenants or just inflate prices? Ab samajh nahi aa raha, should I prioritize a solid build over flashy extras?

Bhai, you've hit the nail on the head! I'm also eyeing Mohali, and Millenium Bajrang Society's amenities look fantastic on paper. But then I remember all those horror stories about builders. My biggest fear is getting stuck with a property that looks good but is crumbling from inside. Is that 'Status: null' thing on their RERA page a red flag or what?
Totally agree with you, U1! My biggest fear too. Builder ke promises pe bharosa karna mushkil hai.
