₹20,000 rent for 5 years, I'm done. Okay, I'll say it: Mohali projects like DLF Privana often have poor construction quality after a year. Clubhouses are ghost facilities, maintenance a rip-off. Change my mind.

Hold on, guys. Are we just going by rumours or do we have concrete examples? DLF Privana is an ongoing project, aur uska price range ₹7.4 Cr – ₹7.4 Cr hai. For such a premium price, you'd expect top-notch quality, right? What specific issues are people facing that make it 'poor after a year'?
U3, I visited a project in Baharampur Naya a few months back, and the sample flat was amazing, but people who got possession said the actual construction was nowhere close. This seems to be a builder trend, not just Mohali. They cut corners on finishing and materials, especially things not visible easily. My friend's place had cheap fittings that broke within months and the paint started peeling.
Exactly! For that price, I expect perfection, not half-baked clubhouses ya leaky pipes. It's a huge investment.
Concrete examples? Just check the RERA number HARERA/GGM/772/504/2023/116 for DLF Privana. Delays toh common hain, but quality issues after a year are unacceptable for ₹7.4 Cr. For that kind of money, I'd expect zero snags.
Same pinch! I'm also a first-time buyer and this post just confirms my fears. Mohali mein bahut projects aa rahe hain, but sabki yahi kahani hai. Investors toh nikal jaate hain, but end-users like us get stuck. Has anyone here actually taken possession in DLF Privana or any similar project and can share their experience?
Yaar, I'm so fed up. ₹20,000 rent for 5 years and still no end in sight to this property search. This post about Mohali projects like DLF Privana hitting home hard. I've heard so many stories about their construction quality going downhill just a year after possession. It's like they rush everything to meet targets, then the buyer suffers. And the clubhouses? They show us grand designs in the brochure, but in reality, they're either incomplete or just sad, empty spaces. Maintenance charges toh aise lete hain jaise 5-star resort ho, but services are pathetic. Is it too much to ask for basic quality for our hard-earned money?
Bhai, it's not just Mohali. Gurugram mein bhi yahi haal hai, especially with these new projects promising the moon. Construction quality is always the first thing to get cut, aur phir customers ko hi bhugatna padta hai. Market conditions are tough enough without these builder issues.
Totally agree with you! My uncle faced similar issues with a project near Airport Road, Gurgaon. Builder ne promised facilities toh bhool hi gaye.
