Visited Mahindra Lifespaces project on Golf Course Extension Road last Saturday. Need a 3BHK for my family. Builder ne quote diya but I'm sensing some hidden costs. Specifically, the 'at possession' charges like maintenance advance, utility connections, and OC/PLC adjustments. Kya Mohali mein builders inpe negotiate karte hain? Ya yeh sab fixed hota hai? My wife is concerned about surprise expenses after EMI starts. Koi hack hai to get these numbers upfront, ya inko kam karwane ka? Please share your experience.

Bhai, you mentioned Mahindra Lifespaces on Golf Course Extension Road. That's in Gurgaon, not Mohali. Are you looking in Mohali or Gurgaon? Because the market dynamics and builder practices can vary a lot between the two. But yes, hidden costs are a universal pain. Maintenance advance toh fix hota hai mostly, utility connections mein thoda scope ho sakta hai, but OC/PLC adjustments are tricky. Make sure to clarify the location first.
