Mohali property prices feel stuck high
Kids have finally moved out and selling our big family home in Delhi is proving tricky. We're looking to downsize to a 2BHK in Mohali, something manageable near a hospital. Honestly, the prices for a 2BHK in places like Sector 65 seem really high, sometimes pushing ₹1.5 Cr. I'm wondering if there are any 'price correction zones' left in Mohali where we can still find some value? Or is everything just going up? Alton Buildtech India Pvt Ltd had some projects, but even their older ones seem steep. Also, what's the deal with negotiation? Brokers keep saying 'fixed price, sir', especially for resale in areas like Patel Nagar. Is it true you can't really negotiate much in Mohali now? Or are some brokers just trying to close fast? Any experiences getting a better deal than the listed price?
