Mohali: Timely delivery from DLF or Emaar?

Under-construction risk in Mohali feels completely real. I'm finally taking the plunge after years of renting, eyeing DLF in New Chandigarh or Emaar Mohali Hills. Worried about their delivery track record and actual construction quality. Anyone have recent experience with these builders? Do they communicate delays well?
