Mohali Upgrade: Is the Maintenance Premium Justified?
Been looking for 6 months now and Mohali prices are wild. I'm currently in a 2BHK in Sector 70, thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK or maybe a villa in S R Sukhavas Residences. Honestly, I'm trying to figure out if the premium for these projects actually pays off long-term. Maintenance charges are a big concern for investors, right? Are they value for money or just high because of fancy brochures? I'm worried about them eating into future rental yield or resale value. Also, how are the security systems in practice there? CCTV coverage, guard quality, visitor management – does it actually deter issues and attract good tenants, or is it just a checklist item? Is the price jump worth it given these ongoing costs? I already have a home loan, so every penny counts. Would appreciate any real-world experiences from S R Sukhavas residents or anyone who's invested there.
