Signature Global Proxima – moved into my 2BHK here just two months back, and already seeing some stuff. The brochure showed huge water tanks and promised 24/7 supply, but we've had tankers arriving way too often. Not sure if it's a society-wide issue or just our tower's tank capacity. Also, the elevators... one of the three is almost always down. It takes ages for maintenance to fix it, and the other two get super crowded. Honestly, for the maintenance charges we're paying, shouldn't these basic things be seamless? Is this normal for new societies in Gurgaon, or did I just get unlucky? Has anyone else faced similar issues with water or elevators in their new projects?

It really highlights the need for a strong RWA from day one. Builder ki responsibility khatam nahi hoti possession ke baad, but they often act like it does. Getting everyone on the same page for collective action is tough. What did you do next, OP? Did you escalate this to the builder directly or through the RWA?
This is so concerning. For a price range of ₹72 L – ₹74 L, I'd expect basic amenities like elevators and water to be flawless. Is this the new normal for projects in this price bracket in Gurgaon, even for ongoing ones?
My advice to everyone here, don't trust brochures blindly. Always visit the site multiple times, talk to people who have already moved into other projects by the same builder. I made the mistake of not doing that for my flat near Baliawas, and faced similar issues. Photos can be very misleading. Also, check the builder's track record on RERA for past projects and see their complaint history.
U8, unfortunately, yes, sometimes it is. Especially with the current market conditions in Gurugram, builders are rushing to complete projects. Quality often takes a hit in the process. You really have to dig deep and do your research before buying. U6, U7, OP might have gotten early possession in a specific tower or section of the project.
Wait, Signature Global Proxima toh abhi under construction hai, possession date 2026-06-01 hai as per RERA (GGM/386/118/2020/02) and GGM/383/115/2019/77. Total units 2192 hain. How did you move in, OP? Maybe it's a different tower or phase that got early possession? Ya fir builder ne early possession de diya aur ab issues aa rahe hain? This is very confusing. Agar abhi se yeh haal hai, toh 2026 tak kya hoga!
Yaar, Signature Global ka track record toh mixed hi hai. Bahut projects mein delays aur quality issues sunne ko mile hain. But water and elevators being a problem right after moving in is just unacceptable. This is not some cheap project either.
U3, Proxima ka possession date 2026-06-01 hai and RERA GGM/386/118/2020/02. Iska matlab toh abhi tak possession mila hi nahi hai? OP, aapko kaise mil gaya?
Sahi baat hai, U4. I booked a flat near Baharampur Naya a couple of years back with another builder, and they also pulled similar stunts. Water supply was a huge headache for the first 6 months. Had to fight with the RWA constantly. Builder bas sales ke time bade-bade waade karte hain, delivery ke time sab bhool jaate hain.
Oh no! This is exactly my biggest fear while looking for a new home. Builder promises the moon, and then you get stuck with these basic issues. So frustrating!
Totally agree, U1. I've heard similar stories from friends who bought in new societies in Gurgaon. The initial few months are always a struggle with one thing or another. It makes me so nervous about my own purchase.
