posted on 7 MayMoving to a smaller flat: maintenance concerns
Maintenance charges in Bangalore can really pinch, especially for smaller flats. My kids have moved out, so we're selling our big house and want a manageable 2BHK near Whitefield or Sarjapur Road. Looking at Disha Park West by Disha Dwellings and MC Fortune by MC Builders. I'm worried about hidden costs during possession and then the ongoing monthly maintenance. Does anyone have experience with these builders regarding post-possession charges? Are they reasonable, or do they feel like extortion? Also, how is the RWA formation process? Do these builders hand over control smoothly, or do they keep interfering? Just want a peaceful life, not more headaches. What's the community's take on this?

Bhai, Disha Dwellings ka naam sunke hi darr lagta hai. Unka toh koi previous project hi nahi hai as per RERA records. Zero projects! First-time builder pe trust karna, woh bhi Bangalore mein jahaan itne scams hote hain, bahut risky hai. Hidden costs toh pakka aayenge, aur maintenance ka bhi kuch bharosa nahi. MC Builders ka phir bhi thoda naam suna hai, but Disha se toh dur hi raho.
Exactly, U1! New builders are a huge gamble
