My Bangalore flat search: Post-possession worries
My kids have moved out, so we're selling our big house and need a smaller, manageable flat in Bangalore. Was supposed to decide by last month but still so confused. We liked Prestige projects in Sarjapur Road for their initial look. But then heard post-possession maintenance can be extortionate, and RWA control issues are common. A friend also mentioned some Godrej projects had minor seepage after a year. Is this common? What's the real construction quality like after a few years for Brigade or Sobha? Need builders known for fairer maintenance and proper RWA handover.

Totally understand your confusion, bhai. My parents are also looking to downsize near Sarjapur, and Prestige was on our radar too. But after talking to a few people, the maintenance charges are a real red flag. Ek friend toh Aavalahalli mein Prestige ke project mein rehta hai, usne bataya ki initial years mein toh sab theek tha but ab RWA aur builder ke beech bahut issues hain. Monthly charges itne badha diye hain ki budget hil gaya hai. Godrej ka bhi suna hai, quality issues after a couple of years are quite common now, especially with the newer projects. Bahut darr lag
