What's the actual ground reality for security systems in Bangalore projects, especially Shriram 107 Southeast Phase 2? My search for an investment property led me here after ruling out others over potential maintenance headaches. Being based in Dubai, I can't visit often, so robust security is paramount for peace of mind and attracting good tenants. Is the CCTV coverage effective, visitor management strict, and guard quality reliable? Yaar, is it genuinely robust, or just a brochure promise? I need to know if it's truly effective, ya sirf ek marketing point. How does it affect resale value too?

Honestly, for any project in Bangalore, especially with the current market conditions, you have to physically check everything. Brochure promises are just that. Shriram has a reputation, but even big builders outsource security, and quality control can slip. My advice: hire someone reliable to do a ground
I checked the RERA: PRM/KA/RERA/1251/308/PR/190715/002689. Status is COMPLETED. But does that mean handover is smooth? And for security, are the guards actually trained or just gatekeepers? This is a 708-unit project, so management can be tricky with so many residents.
Bhai, I'm also looking at projects near Akshayanagar, and security is my top priority. For Shriram 107 Southeast Phase 2, do they really have 24/7 manned security or is it mostly just cameras? My friend had issues with theft in a 'secured' society where guards were always sleeping.
My friend lives there. Visitor management is okay, they use an app for entry/exit. But guards are mostly from local agencies, not highly professional or trained for quick response. For a ₹62 L – ₹84 L range, you expect better. Resale value will definitely be impacted if security perception is weak, especially for attracting good tenants like OP mentioned.
Yaar, what about the camera quality? And do they store footage for long? Mera cousin ka bike chori ho gaya tha Aavalahalli mein because footage was deleted after 24 hours. Is Shriram 107's system truly robust or just for show?
Manned security toh hai but quality varies. Day shift wale theek hain, night shift mein thoda dheela pad jaate hain, from what I've heard from residents.
Totally agree with this! Security is a huge concern for first-time buyers like us. Brochure mein sab achha dikhta hai, but ground pe kya hota hai, that's the real question.
I visited a project nearby last month, not this one, but a similar range. They had CCTV everywhere but cameras were often non-functional for days. And visitor management was just a register, not a proper app-based system. For a project like Shriram 107 with 708 units, a manual system won't work efficiently. Dubai se manage karna mushkil hoga, jaisa OP ne bola. You need something truly automated.
Exactly! Mere ek relative ne Adigara Kallahalli mein property li thi, brochure mein sab tha, but entry-exit pe koi check hi nahi karta. Is it similar here in Shriram 107 Southeast Phase 2? That would be a deal-breaker for me.
Haan, completion toh hai Shriram 107 ki, but security ka ground reality different hota hai. Builders sirf numbers dikhate hain.
