₹1.8 crore from selling our Koramangala house, I just wanted a peaceful, compact flat for retirement. We bought a 3BHK in Sobha Manhattan Towers, Whitefield. Kids are out, so we wanted low maintenance. But the post-possession charges are shocking. Sales promised 'low maintenance', now it feels like extortion. The RWA still hasn't got full control from Sobha. Costs keep climbing. Is this common with Sobha? Anyone else face issues with society handover or maintenance fees?

Oh no, this is my biggest fear! We are also first-time buyers looking in Whitefield, and builders always promise low maintenance. Can you share what kind of post-possession charges are shocking you? Is it like club membership, corpus fund, or something else entirely?
Exactly! They show
Haan bhai, same problem with my friend in Akshayanagar. Builders hide everything.
