Okay I'll be honest — I completely underestimated how confusing super area vs carpet area is. I'm eyeing a 3BHK in Vasant Kunj. Builders like DLF aur Godrej apni prices super area pe quote karte hain. Actual carpet area itna kam hota hai! Is it normal for this difference to be so huge? Yaar, is it just a way to inflate cost? Also, floor-rise premium ka kya scene hai? Trying to understand the true value before committing.

Bhai, same to same situation. I was looking at a project in Alaknanda, Godrej hai udhar bhi. They showed me a 1500 sq ft flat on paper but jab carpet area dekha, it was barely 950 sq ft! It felt like a scam. Builders always play these games. My uncle told me to always ask for RERA carpet area first. Is this difference really normal or are we just getting fleeced?
