Honestly, I had no idea how much legal paperwork goes into buying property. Rajkot mein Ansal API ke ek project, Krishna Kunj, mein dekh raha tha. Broker ne bola sab clear hai, but my dad insisted on independent legal verification. Title search, encumbrance certificate... yeh sab kya hota hai? Not sure if builder's assurances are enough. Kya kisi ne Rajkot mein khud se RERA check kiya hai? What should I look for?

Bilkul sahi kiya aapke dad ne! Builders ki बातों पर आँख बंद करके भरोसा नहीं कर सकते, especially if it's your first time buying. Bahut kuch hidden hota hai jo humein pata hi nahi chalta. My uncle also faced a similar issue with a project in Ahmedabad where the builder had taken a loan against the land and hadn't cleared it.
