My dilemma: ready vs. under-construction for peace of mind
Honestly, I thought finding a smaller flat after kids moved out would be easy. But Gurgaon mein it's so confusing! I'm looking at Ansal Valley View Estate, jo ready hai, versus Adani Samsara Ivana, which is still under-construction. Ready-to-move mein society aur RWA ka idea lag jaata hai, plus immediate possession mil jaati hai. But under-construction mein kya risk hai, especially for an older couple? Maintenance charges ka bhi darr hai, for a settled life. Adani ki maintenance kaisi hogi? Any thoughts on which is better for a family looking for low-hassle living?

Ansal Valley View Estate is a good option if you're looking for something established. Price
Adani Samsara Ivana ke baare mein maine bhi suna hai, but under-construction projects mein, especially in Gurgaon, bahut delays hote hain. Mere ek relative ne Badshahpur mein ek project liya tha, 3 saal late ho gaya! Builder bas date pe date deta rehta hai. Older couple ke liye toh yeh stress bilkul nahi chahiye. Ansal Valley View Estate ka track record toh theek lagta hai, at least ready hai. Maintenance charges ka bhi darr hai, under-construction mein initially kam dikhate hain, baad mein skyrocket ho jaate hain.
Adani ka track record kaisa hai Gurgaon mein for timely delivery? Anyone has experience with their other projects?
Haan, delays hote hain, but agar builder reputed hai toh risk kam hota hai. Plus, under-construction mein you can sometimes negotiate better deals, especially on payment plans. Aur interiors customize karne ka bhi option mil jaata hai, ready mein toh jo hai so hai.
Totally agree with U3! Builder delays are the worst. Mera bhi ek project Baharampur Naya mein 2 saal latak gaya, abhi tak possession nahi mila.
Aapki dilemma bilkul sahi hai. Ready-to-move is generally better for peace of mind, especially at your age. Under-construction mein tension hi tension hai, completion date ka koi bharosa nahi.
