My first Delhi flat: Negotiation was a joke
Just moved into my new flat last month in Shastri Nagar, bought from a Reputed Builder. Everyone glorifies negotiation, but honestly, Delhi mein toh it's almost a myth! I tried hard for my ₹2 Cr 3BHK, but builders won't budge much beyond some small 'spot discounts'. What's worse, hidden charges like PLC and parking just pop up later. Seriously, kitna realistically kam hota hai? Change my mind.

Totally agree! Delhi market is tough for negotiation. My experience looking in Alaknanda was similar – builders don't budge much beyond token gestures. It's frustrating when you're a first-time buyer.
Haan yaar, this PLC and parking charge is such a scam! I was almost ready to book a flat near Anand Vihar, and suddenly they added 5 Lakhs for 'development charges' that were never mentioned! It's like they wait till you're fully invested then spring these
