My projected 6% rental yield in the High Rental Yield corridor is actually closer to 4.5% after all deductions. Honestly, this is frustrating. I've tracked the market for years, but the hidden costs here are something else. Quarterly maintenance charges, renewal brokerage, even unexpected property tax hikes — they eat into everything. Brokers never highlight this. From my experience, initial ROI calculations often miss these small but significant hits. Has anyone else investing in High Rental Yield faced similar issues? How do you guys manage to maintain your target ROI?

Yaar, totally relate to this! I was looking at a 2BHK in Alpha I Greater Noida for investment, and the broker was showing me these amazing rental projections. But jab maine khud research karna shuru kiya, tab pata chala ki quarterly maintenance, property tax, aur har saal ka painting-shainting ka kharcha alag se aata hai. My expected 5.5% yield looked more like 4% then. It's so misleading, especially for first-time buyers like me jo sirf numbers pe jaate hain. Yeh toh dhokha hai ek tarah se.
