My Hyderabad upgrade hunt: Resale negotiation real talk
My lease ends in 6 months, and I'm seriously thinking of upgrading from my current 2BHK in Gachibowli. I'm looking at 3BHKs or a small villa, especially around Nanakramguda ya Kokapet. Builder projects like Salarpuria Sattva look good, but the new property prices, even after discounts, feel a bit high. Meri ek friend bol rahi thi ki secondary market mein negotiation ka scope zyada hota hai, especially for older, well-maintained properties. Kya yeh sach mein work karta hai Hyderabad mein? Matlab, can you really knock off a significant amount on resale deals compared to new launches? I'm trying to figure out total cost of acquisition for investment. Already have a home loan, so EMI will be a factor. Any experiences with older properties and hidden snags? Is the price jump worth it for a slightly older but bigger place?
