My J Block 2BHK search: Commute & safety doubts
3 site visits to J Block this month, still so many questions. I'm looking at a 2BHK there, budget around ₹75-80L. It feels a bit far out, honestly, especially coming from South Delhi. My main concern is metro connectivity. The Aqua Line extension to Noida Extension is still some time away, right? How's the daily commute for those working in Noida Sector 62/63 right now? Is it a nightmare with traffic, or are the existing options like shared autos okay? Also, wondering about safety. My partner works late sometimes, and we're worried about walking back from the main road. Is the general area well-lit? Builders like Godrej or Gaursons usually have good internal security, but what about the overall vibe outside? Any real-life experiences would be super helpful.

Safety ka concern valid hai. Main Alistonia Estate ke paas rehta hoon, aur raat mein main road se andar tak walking thoda risky lagta hai. Lighting toh hai, but still, thodi sunsaan feel hoti hai. Gaursons ki internal security acchi hai, but bahar ka area thoda develop hone mein time lagega.
Commute ka toh sach mein challenge hai. Main Godrej Nurture se daily Sector 62 jata hoon. Morning mein shared auto mil jaate hain easily till City Centre, wahan se metro. But evening mein, especially after 8 PM, it's a pain. Shared autos kam milte hain aur cab ka bill badh jaata hai. Plus, DND flyover par traffic ka alag scene. Aqua line ka wait toh hum sab kar rahe hain, pata nahi kab aayegi.
Jaise aapne bataya, shared auto ka toh hai, but if you have your own car, it's manageable. Early morning nikal jaao toh traffic itna nahi milta. But haan, fuel expenses will add up. Metro extension hi best solution hai.
Sahi keh rahe ho. Which routes do you usually take for shared autos from there, especially for City Centre?
75-80L mein 2BHK J Block mein? Thoda high side lag raha hai, bhai. Kya builders quote kar rahe hain?
Yaar, J Block ka location thoda out hai, I agree. Main bhi South Delhi se hoon aur mujhe bhi yahi lagta hai. Commute ka tension toh hai hi, especially for Sector 62/63. Metro na hone se bahut dikkat hoti hai, no doubt.
