My new flat journey: so many hidden costs, yaar!
Since March I've been living in my new flat, aur abhi bhi hidden costs nikal rahe hain. Honestly, total cost of ownership ka idea bilkul nahi tha. Builder ne jo price quote kiya, usse kaafi zyada lag gaya stamp duty, registration, and phir interior ka kharcha. Alton Tatva Estates aur Godrej Sora, dono mein se kis builder pe trust karein? Godrej ka naam toh hai, but upcoming project hai. Alton Tatva Estates ongoing hai, but kya unka track record sahi hai Mohali mein? Koi experience share kar sakta hai? Am I the only one who felt the price difference was huge?

Haan bhai, same experience. I bought in Badshahpur two years ago, and thought I had it all figured out. But the maintenance charges for the first year itself were a shocker, plus the society formation fees. Always ask for a detailed breakdown, not just base price.
Totally relate, yaar! Builder quotes are just the tip of the iceberg. Stamp duty, registration, legal fees, then interior... my budget went for a toss.
