My Noida Extension possession shocker: hidden costs & cracks

What's the deal with all these hidden charges popping up right at possession time in Greater Noida? I just got my 3BHK in Noida Extension from a well-known builder – not Godrej or ATS, but another big name – and the final bill had an extra ₹3.5 lakhs for EDC/IDC and a year's maintenance deposit. Nobody clearly explained this before booking, it's just frustrating. We moved in last month, and honestly, the construction quality feels rushed. Small plaster cracks are already showing up, and there's a damp patch near the balcony. This isn't the 'quality construction' they advertised, especially for a ₹1.2 Cr flat. Are others seeing similar issues with ACE or Mahagun projects around Pari Chowk? What did you do to push back on these extra costs or fix initial defects?
