posted on 9 MayMy Prateek Laurel possession experience – is it just me?
Honestly, moving into Prateek Laurel last month has been an eye-opener. Possession ke time kuch hidden cheezein pata chali, like unexpected charges. I'm wondering agar baaki residents ko bhi same experience hua. Society ka vibe kaisa lag raha hai sabko? Is it genuinely good to live daily, ya bas brochure pe acha tha? What's your first-hand take on the actual living experience here?

So, after all this, is it still a good option for someone looking to move in immediately, or should I look elsewhere, like maybe Alistonia Estate?
The market in Noida is tough right now, especially for resale. Builders like Prateek have a mixed track record. Is the society management good after possession? That's key for daily living.
I was actually considering Prateek Laurel because the price range (₹87 L – ₹2.4 Cr) seemed decent for the location, and it's a completed project. But reading this makes me nervous. Is the RERA number UPRERAPRJ591510 actually helpful for these older projects, ya bas formality hai? Aur is it worth it compared to new projects coming up near Alpha I Greater Noida?
Exactly what U7 said. RERA is good for new projects but for older ones like Prateek Laurel, you have to look at the society's current financial health and resident welfare association's strength. Hidden charges are often just the tip of the iceberg with older societies.
U6, RERA number toh hai but since possession was 2013, most of the issues from that time might not be covered under strict RERA guidelines now. It's more for transparency going forward. For old projects, due diligence is super important.
Haan yaar, Prateek Laurel ka vibe toh mixed reviews wala hai. Maintenance charges ka kya scene hai abhi?
Bhai, you're not alone! Prateek Laurel mein unexpected charges kaafi common hain. Mere ek friend ne bhi bataya tha ki possession ke time final bill mein kuch extra add kar dete hain. Kya charges the aapke case mein?
Oh no, this is my biggest fear as a first-time buyer. Hidden costs are a nightmare!
Totally agree with your point. Mere case mein toh club membership aur ek 'corpus fund' ke naam pe achha khaasa amount maanga gaya tha, jo pehle discuss nahi hua. Builders aise hi karte hain, especially jab project 2013 ka ho, tab RERA bhi nahi tha properly, toh they had more leeway. Bahut frustrating hota hai, sab budget bigad jaata hai.
