My Rajkot property hunt: Are brokers actually getting us better deals?
Broker commissions in Rajkot are getting out of hand, especially on new projects. I'm looking for a 3BHK around 150 Feet Ring Road or Kalawad Road, budget around ₹1 Cr. Been checking out places by Balaji Group and Galaxy Group. Honestly, I'm a channel partner myself, but buying for my own investment feels totally different. I know builders often have internal teams, but brokers keep pushing deals. Is it always better to go direct to the builder for the best price, or can a good broker actually get you a better 'all-in' deal, including stamp duty and registration? I'm trying to figure out the true total cost, not just the base price. Sometimes brokers claim they can get special rates or discounts that the builder won't offer directly. What's been your experience with this in Rajkot? Is there a sweet spot for negotiation when dealing with a broker versus the builder's sales team? Any insights on hidden costs that pop up late in the game, even with a broker?
