My real estate investment plan is hitting a wall
Is anyone else seriously fed up with these infra project delays in Bengaluru? I work in real estate, but yaar, buying for myself is a whole different ball game. Builders promise the moon based on these infra projects, right? Like, Sarjapur Road mein property lena was supposed to be a smart move because of Namma Metro Phase 3 and Peripheral Ring Road. But abhi tak toh kuch khaas progress nahi dikh raha. Timeline and delay concerns are real. Is the promised completion of these projects like Peripheral Ring Road even realistic? My whole investment window is getting messed up. What's the point of buying near these 'upcoming' corridors if the 'upcoming' never really comes? Kitna wait karein for price appreciation? Anyone else facing this issue, especially in places like Electronic City or Kanakapura Road? Meri toh frustration badh rahi hai.

Meri toh poori investment strategy hi hil gayi hai. Electronic City ke paas ek property li thi, specifically because of the promised Metro connectivity. Builder ne bola tha 2 saal mein sab ho jaayega, ab 3 saal ho gaye aur construction abhi bhi slow pace pe hai. RERA date bhi extend ho gayi hai. Lagta hai developers ko koi fark hi nahi padta. Hum jaise middle-class log loan lekar phans jaate hain.
Exactly what happened with me near Kanakapura Road. Trusting the 'upcoming' infra projects was my biggest mistake. Learned it the hard way. Next time, I'm only looking at properties where the infra is already *there*, ya at least 80% complete. Don't fall for marketing gimmicks,
Which builder was this, bhai? Name and shame! So others can be cautious. These delays are costing us precious time and money.
This is so relatable, yaar. My friend also bought near EC, thinking of the Metro benefits. Ab commute time utna hi hai aur property value bhi utni accelerate nahi hui jitni expected thi. Bahut disappointing hai.
Totally agree with this frustration! Mera bhi same haal hai, Sarjapur Road mein ek plot dekha tha, builder ne itne bade-bade sapne dikhaye metro aur PRR ke naam par. Ab lagta hai sab hawa-hawai baatein thi. Budget tight hai aur yeh delays toh meri saari planning kharab kar rahe hain.
Same pinch! My parents keep asking 'kab possession milega?' and I have no answer. My investment window for appreciation is closing fast. Toh ab kya karein, should we just wait indefinitely or look for ready-to-move options jo thode costly hain but at least mil toh jaayega?
Exactly! I booked a 2BHK in Aavalahalli two years ago, thinking PRR will make my commute a breeze to my office in EC. Abhi tak toh road ka naamोनिशान nahi dikh raha, bas dust aur traffic jams hain. Mera toh EMI bhi start ho gaya hai.
