DLF City Sohna mein prices bilkul out of control hain. I moved nearby a few months back, saw the projects then. Ab soch raha hu, is it still worth buying for investment, ya wait karna chahiye? What's your take on recent price trends?

Honestly, Sohna has potential for long-term appreciation, say 7-10 years, but short-term investment for quick gains might be risky at these current peaks. If you're buying for end-use and can hold for 5-7 years, then maybe it makes sense. Otherwise, wait for a market correction or look at more established but slower-growing areas in Gurgaon. No easy answers for first-timers like us.
Builder ne phir se possession date extend kar diya lol. My friend's project in Sector 33 Sohna is delayed by 2 years now. This is a common issue with many projects.
I bought a small plot near Baliawas two years ago, thinking Sohna would catch up fast. It did, but the appreciation is mostly on paper for now; actual buyers are scarce at these current rates. Lagta hai abhi wait karna padega for real returns, ya phir resale market mein dump karna padega below current market value.
Good deal matlab reputable builder ka project, clear titles, aur jahan connectivity future mein improve ho. Airport Road extension ke paas projects dekh sakte ho, thoda better value mil sakta hai as it connects to key areas. Don't fall for too-good-to-be-true offers.
Good deal kahan milega? Sab toh out of budget hai. What's a 'good deal' in today's inflated market, specifically for someone with limited budget?
But market conditions are pushing prices up everywhere, not just Sohna. Interest rates are relatively stable now, and demand is still there, especially for peripheral areas of Gurgaon like Sohna, as it offers a lifestyle upgrade from the city's hustle. Might not be a bad time to enter if you find a good deal and can hold.
Same here. I was looking near Badshahpur a few months back, even then it felt high. Ab toh lagta hai dream hi hai, especially for first-time buyers like us. Kisi ko Surendra Homes ka idea hai kya? Unka koi project hai Sohna mein?
Exactly what U4 said. I almost got scammed by a similar 'builder' near Baharampur Naya last year. Always check RERA and ask for project completion certificates before even thinking of paying. These fly-by-night operators create fake buzz in hot areas. Sohna is definitely hot, but due diligence is key, especially for first-time buyers who are putting their life savings.
Surendra Homes? Bhai, unka toh koi project hai hi nahi as per RERA records for Sohna. Google pe bhi kuch khaas information nahi milti. Beware of such names; they often pop up during property booms.
Totally agree, bhai. Prices have shot up like crazy. Investment ka toh samajh hi nahi aa raha, it feels like it's already peaked.
