Vasant Kunj — renting here has become a joke, honestly. I work in real estate, so I know the market, but even I'm shocked. Rent has shot up like 30-40% in the last two years for a simple 2BHK in South Delhi. Matlab, is this justified? Landlords are acting like it's a goldmine. And trying to find something direct? Impossible, brokers gatekeep everything, adding another month's rent. People talk about property appreciation, but rental yields for owners are still low, so why this insane hike? It just feels like pure greed. Change my mind.

Bhai, you've hit the nail on the head! I thought it was just me. I've been looking for a 2BHK in Saket and Vasant Kunj for months, and the prices are just insane. My budget was 30k, but now even a decent 1BHK is going for that. Landlords are demanding 2 months security + 1 month advance + broker commission. It's like they're trying to fund their next vacation with our rent. Is there any way to actually find something without a broker in South Delhi? I'm so fed up.
