Moved into my Sattva Lake Ridge flat a couple of months back. Abhi tak I'm seeing kuch issues jo pehle notice nahi kiye the. Power backup ka kya scene hai? Sirf common areas ke liye hai ya poore flat ke liye? Resale value ke liye yeh sab matters a lot, right? Also, water supply reliability pe kitna dependent hain society? Tanker calls kitne lagte hain monthly? Thinking about long-term maintenance costs aur tenant attraction, these are big factors. Any first-hand experiences?

Hidden costs ka bhi darr hai mujhe. Power backup toh common areas ke liye bolte hain, but flat ke andar ke liye kya scene hai? Agar alag se inverter lagana pada, toh woh bhi ek kharcha. Aur water tanker calls kitne lagte hain monthly? Any idea about extra maintenance charges for power backup or water?

Haan, tanker cost ek bada hidden charge hai. Depends on your usage, but agar society ka borewell ya municipal supply weak hai, toh monthly 2-3 tanker toh pakad ke chalo. Har tanker ka 1500-2000 easily lag jaata hai. Power backup generally common areas aur ek-do light points ke liye hi hota hai flats mein, AC ya geyser nahi chalega. Uske liye alag se inverter/UPS lagana padega.
Mere friend ne Alwal mein ek project liya tha, similar issues hain wahan bhi. Power cuts toh normal hain, but water supply ke liye har hafte tanker bulana padta hai. Maintenance cost mein bhi iska bohot impact aata hai. Lake Ridge mein 897 units hain, so water and power management will be a huge task. Is builder ka reputation water/power issues mein kaisa hai? Pehle ke projects mein kya experience raha hai logon ka?

Is builder ke reviews mixed milte hain. Construction quality pe toh log complain nahi karte zyada, but post-possession services aur common area maintenance pe kaafi log dissatisfied hain. Especially water and power backup ke liye, you might have to push the society management committee hard. Builder ka kaam khatam, phir aapka shuru.
Haan, yeh toh common problem hai. Mere ek rishtedaar ne Begumpet mein ek bade builder ka project liya tha, unko bhi regular power backup problems aur tanker issues ka samna karna padta hai. Bolte kuch hain, karte kuch hain. Jab tak society pura handover nahi hoti, tab tak builder ki responsibility hoti hai, but after that, residents ko hi manage karna padta hai. So, make sure society mein proper management ho, varna aapki pocket pe bojh padega. Be very careful with these 'upcoming' projects.
Totally agree! Builders ke promises aur reality mein zameen-aasman ka farq hota hai. Bahut frustating hai yaar.

Isliye, I'm always skeptical about projects jo itne long-term completion dates dete hain, especially jab market conditions bhi fluctuate karti rehti hain. Better to go for something closer to possession.
