My search for a peaceful Rajkot flat in Krishna Kunj
Since last Diwali, I've been seriously thinking about selling our big house near 150 Feet Ring Road. Kids have moved out, ab itna bada place nahi chahiye. Looking for a compact 2BHK or small 3BHK in a good society, especially around Krishna Kunj. My main concern is ki life manageable ho. I'm looking at flats around ₹60-80L. Older folks ke liye elevator aur constant electricity bahut important hai, you know. Krishna Kunj mein water supply ka kya scene hai? Municipal water aata hai ya borewell pe depend karna padta hai? Aur power cuts ka kitna issue hai? Hamare current area mein toh bahut problem nahi, but naye societies mein sunte hain backup ka bhi issue hota hai sometimes. Also, maintenance charges kitne hote hain typically for a 2BHK/3BHK? Aur RWA kitna active hai? Don't want unexpected costs ya society mein issues. Any hidden costs residents discovered?

Haan bhai, RWA aur power backup toh sabse important hai. Koi specific society ka naam batao jahan water supply reliable ho? Rajkot mein kaafi jagah borewell pe hi chal raha hai.
U2, Krishna Kunj mein 'Shreeji Residency' aur 'Shivdhara Heights' mein kaafi log rehte hain. Shreeji mein municipal water aata hai mostly, but summers mein pressure issue hota hai sometimes. Shivdhara mein borewell backup hai, toh water ka issue kam hai wahan. Power cuts toh common hain, but most societies have generator backup for common areas, not always for inside flats.
Totally understand your situation! My parents are also looking to downsize. Krishna Kunj is definitely peaceful. But 60-80L for a good 2BHK/small 3BHK in a decent society there might be a stretch now, especially with all the amenities you're looking for. Recent price trends toh kaafi upar ja rahe hain.
