Does anyone else find the stamp duty calculation for a 3BHK in New Chandigarh super confusing? I'm upgrading from my 2BHK in Sector 44, eyeing something around ₹1.2 Cr, maybe near PR-7 Airport Road by Omaxe or SBP Group. Trying to figure out the *true* all-in cost. Is there any flexibility on stamp duty and registration? I heard about different quoted prices versus registration values in Rasulpur. Is that even legal? And what hidden costs should I really watch for before possession? Don't want surprises.

Yaar, thank you for posting this! I'm also looking in New Chandigarh, maybe SBP or Omaxe, and the stamp duty part is a total headache. It feels like they intentionally make it complicated so we just pay up. My agent just gives a round figure, no proper breakdown. So frustrating!
