Visited a couple of projects in Sector 85 last weekend, looking for a 3BHK or a small villa. Currently in a 2BHK in Sector 70, I'm thinking of upgrading. Prices in Sector 85 are a significant jump, around ₹1.8 Cr for a 3BHK in some new developments. I'm already carrying a home loan, so this decision needs careful thought. I'm checking out Godrej and DLF options. Everything looks great on paper, but I'm honestly worried about safety for my family, especially at night. Is the area well-lit? What's day-to-day living like – is it isolated or does it have a good community vibe? Given the price premium, is the overall living experience and peace of mind truly justified? Would appreciate insights from anyone living in Sector 85. What's your take on safety and the general community feel? Is the price jump worth it? Which project would you lean towards?
