My Tata Housing nightmare in Rohini
2.5 years late, 3 calls a week, still no possession for my 3BHK in Sector 23 Rohini. Honestly, I work in real estate, I see all the tricks. But buying for myself, I'm just shocked by Tata Housing. They promised delivery by mid-2022, now it's late 2024 and they're still pushing dates. The super area vs carpet area games are real, and they've sprung so many "additional charges" I wasn't told upfront. Total cost is way higher than the ₹3.5 Cr I budgeted. I thought a big name like Tata would be reliable, but this off-the-record stuff is killing me. My EMI started, but I'm still paying rent. It's a huge burden. Is the resale market even good here if I decide to cut my losses? Have others faced this with them, or any builder in Rohini? What did you do?
